If you've got a gardening problem, give Ken a call

Call Ken with your gardening questions

Ken Crowther

Before you head into the garden or down to the local garden centre, tune in to Ken Crowther on Saturday mornings for green fingered advice and a look at 'green' Essex.

The programme is still about gardening but also includes lots of extras that our listeners have been suggesting I should include for years. So I'm lucky to have the extra time to include 'green' issues, food, re-cycling, organics, etc.

All this and not forgetting that, at last, I am able to include music!

All this and more, every Saturday morning between nine and noon.

Ken's BIG questions:

What was your first radio memory?

My memory was my Dad and Mum listening to the Archers and me trying to listen to pop music on a transistor radio that I had made myself.

What is your favourite song ever?

'Lay lady Lay' by Bob Dylan.

What one things makes Essex so special?

The gardens of Essex never cease to amaze me. From seaside to dry to woodland -  they're all here.
