Listen and Watch Pirate BBC Essex

Pirate BBC Essex is broadcasing from the LV18 lightship in Harwich from 10, April till 13, April. You can listen on medium wave or via your computer.

Pirate BBC Essex is on air from the LV18 lightship which is moored alongside the Ha'Penny Pier in Harwich, Essex.

The event coincides with the releasing of the film "The Boat That Rocked", directed by Richard Curtis and starring Kenneth Branagh, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Bill Nighy. 

Presenters such as Dave Cash, Roger Day, Emperor Rosko and Johnnie Walker return to Pirate BBC Essex following the 2007 broadcast. 

And for the first time on Pirate BBC Essex Tony Blackburn, Steve Merike, Paul Freeman and Alan Turner.

As well as listening online you can hear Pirate BBC Essex on medium wave on 729, 765 or 1530 khz.

Our programmes will also be on BBC Essex FM frequencies of 95.3 and 103.5FM from 0100 until 0600.
