More about Steve...
Steve grew up in Rainham and is a Capricorn.
His first job was as an Apprentice Technician with Rediffusion Television.
His first kiss was with "a holiday romance in Margate... 10-years-old and I don't remember her name!"
Steve's first car was a Ford Escort Van.
The first ever record that he bought was 'Ragtime Cowboy Joe' by The Chipmonks.
Steve's favourite place in Essex is the Essex Coast - "anywhere I can see and hear the waves rolling in. If I want to mix with the crowds then Clacton or Southend... something more peaceful then Mersea Island or the Naze at Walton."
As a child Steve wanted to be a Bus Driver, and if he wasn't working in radio he would probably be working in tourism.
His most memorable moment at BBC Essex was "working on the LV18 off the Essex Coast with my colleagues recreating the pirate radio days on Pirate BBC Essex at Easter 2004."
