I dont really know many people who have had a tumour so reading your site was very interesting. DEIDRE SALTER (a nurse at NHS Hospital)
Over the Christmas period, although I was working Christmas Day Steve played GIVE ME HOPE on Rdio Essex. I was on my own at the time driving my car. That brought so many memories into my mind, as I have been nursing patients with cancer for nearly 30 years and still am. I contacted Radio Essex and purchased a copy, which I keep playing. I also attend a church when I can and intend in use the words of this song to give help to others. I do admire you and the work which you are doing. I also have a work friend who is so ill at the moment with cancer (a nurse) and is undergoing the horrible treatment and from a sellfish point, the words are helping me. From the disc I purchased I have looked up the web site and intend to see the band at sometime. I would like to wish you all the very best of health for 2008 and the coming years ahead. Regards Deidre at Harwich Hospital

Helen Holmes

Hi Alison. My husband and I are missionaries working with Township peolpe in South Africa. I recently had an operation to remove a grade 4 Glioblastoma tumour that was 15 cubic centimetres, size of a tennis ball. I was giving t only a 25% chance of surviving the op and the possibility of being permantely disabled. But I have survived and I am sure it is because I have a positive attitude and I am a Christian.
