Hylands
House is set in over 500 acres of landscaped parkland, and thanks
to an on-going restoration programme is now partly open to the public
after lying derelict for many years.
THE BANQUETING ROOM
This room has been fully restored, is exuberantly decorated
in the neo-Baroque style, the original décor being reportedly
created by French craftsmen.

THE
DRAWING ROOM
The piece de resistance of the East Wing of the House,
with the restored gilded and painted coffered ceiling
and hand painted wall panels. The original marble fireplace
stands amongst the sumptuously decorated room.
