Jade
from
Damage
Damage first started 10 years ago as a group of
school friends with a shared passion for r&b.
They quickly began to sing and dance together.
The group's first record, 'Anything' was released
in July 1996. It only managed number 62 in the
charts but received widespread critical acclaim
(including single of the week in Blues & Soul
magazine).
Since then chart success has come more readliy.
Damage's next two singles: 'Love II Love' and
'Forever' reached number 12 and 6 respectively.
Their debut album (also called 'Forever') went
gold.
Their new album 'Since You've Been Gone' was released
at the end of March and contains single 'Ghetto
Romance', another Top 10 hit for the group.
More recently Jade has hit the headlines for his
collaborations with popstar girlfriend Emma Bunton.
Emma features on 'I Don't Know', a track from
the new album which the couple recently sang together
live on stage for MTV's 'Five Night Stand'
There were also rumours recently that the group
would be working with Michael Jackson.
