How to apply for Mastermind.
There are two ways in which you can apply to be on the show.
You can either download and print a pdf application form and post it with your photo, to:

or you can complete the online application form.

Mastermind contestants will need to have a broad general knowledge and may need up to 4 specialist subjects should you be successful in getting through all stages of the competition. You must be at least 18 years old - there is no upper age limit if you are keen!

When returning the 'Mastermind' application form, it is ESSENTIAL that you send us a recent photograph of yourself. Any application forms received without photographs will not be considered and all photos are non-returnable.

Unfortunately due to the large number of applications we receive, we cannot acknowledge receipt of forms. However, all applications are kept on file so if you are not contacted for the forthcoming series we may be in touch with you in the future.

Auditions will take place in main city centres throughout the UK on weekdays, mainly during working hours. If you are invited to attend an audition we will contact you by letter or telephone, we will attempt to give you as much notice as we possibly can. Therefore it is important you list all your contact numbers; work, home and mobile so we can contact you during the day as well as the evening.

We regret that we are not able to reimburse travelling expenses to attend the audition.
