Elaine Rawlings School Secretary Valerie Lilley As Ian George's secretary, Elaine is a stalwart of Hope Park. She has seen head teachers come and go and feels that, even though it's not widely acknowledged, the smooth running of the school depends entirely on her. She reserved judgement on Ian when he took over but now she's on his side and very protective of him. She feels that if anyone is going to do anything with Hope Park - apart from herself - then it will be Ian George.
