Kitty Burton finds herself up against Sally for the position of Head of Sixth Form. Sally doesn’t think she stands a chance but Tony encourages her to apply and helps her to prepare for her interview.

Kitty, meanwhile, is everyone’s favourite to get the job but puts her future at Hope Park in jeopardy when she finds herself getting closer than she should with one of the students.

Ian finds it hard to prioritise between his blossoming relationship with Clare and his work problems.
