Kynance
Cove is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the South West of
England. The cove boasts white sand, turquoise water and islands of multi-coloured
rock with stacks and arches close to the dramatic cliffs. The area was
occupied by the Celts as far back as 300BC but there is also evidence of earlier
Bronze Age occupation. There are many serpentine rocks around the cove
which are multi-coloured and these are best viewed at low tide. The cove attracts
1/4 million visitors every year. |
