The
South East is bursting with a feast of man made wonders - from castles and palaces
to bridges and cathedrals. This programme celebrates man made wonders up
to the year 1900. Our journey will take us to wonders which have not only
been shaped by the region's rich history but have, in turn, helped shape the history
of England and Wales. Amongst the many great wonders we visit are Dover
Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Brighton Pavilion. But there's also a few
surprises in store including a railway viaduct and a Roman villa. |
