Emma,
a professional actress by trade, has generated lively feedback
since she took over the evening programme at the beginning
of 2004. Now she has a show of her on every weekday afternoon.

When
not on the air she can be found fishing or walking her dog
Issy.
Emma
said: "I had been working as an actress in London's West
End and had played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at the National
Theatre.
"I
came down on holiday to Cadgwith where I have a lot of friends
and I instantly fell in love with the area."
Emma
has become a familiar voice on BBC Radio Cornwall where she
has also co-presented weekend breakfast programmes and stood
in for other presenters.
Since
Emma moved to Cornwall, her acting has taken a back seat to
her broadcasting.
But
viewers may have spotted her in the second series of the Dawn
French comedy, Wild West.
"I
have been presenting the afternoon show since February,"
says Emma. "It's a great fun show to do. I'm sure I'm
not supposed to have this much fun at work!"
"It's
a really broad cross-section who ring in. The great thing
is being able to talk to listeners. It's amazing what you
find out about them!"
