are the four finalists for the Community Gardens Section of
BBC West's Real Gardens Competition 2004.

Greenhill House Cheshire Home, Timsbury.
Judges' view: "Full of spirit...a real group
effort to come up with seasonal designs... the enthusiasm
of the group is really apparent."

Siblands Sensory Garden, Thornbury.
Judges' view: "A very good example of a sensory
garden but also a lovely little place to get away for
any member of the community."

Henry Rogers Almshouses, Cannington.
Judges' view: "A calm and tranquil atmosphere...
the choice and age of the plants give it a really well-
established and well-kept feeling."

Voting has now closed - the online votes will be added to the
telephone votes and the results will be announced during a special
outside broadcast at the Portishead Flower Show on 30 July.
