Kate
Simms is your Cheshire reporter, bringing you all the latest
on what's happenning in the county. Kate is based in the BBC's
offices at County Hall in Chester.
Born
in Crewe, her family roots are in Nantwich, though she was
brought up in Birmingham. She returned to the North West as
a student and never left!
After
gaining her journalism qualification, Kate joined the BBC
in 1999 as a rookie reporter for Radio Merseyside. She's been
part of the North West Tonight team for nearly four years
and recently took up the post of Cheshire reporter, which
made her nana in Nantwich very proud!
