After
studying Meteorology at the Met. Office College in Berkshire,
Dianne became BBC North Wests first on-screen weather
presenter in 1995. |

 |
Previously,
she was a familiar voice to Radio 1 listeners, getting her
first radio job as an afternoon girl on the hugely popular
Steve Wright Show.
As
listeners warmed to Diannes easy-going North Eastern
style, she was asked to bring a cheery start to the day for
the nine million listeners of Simon Mayos Breakfast
Show, where she won a Silver Sony Award.
Dianne
met her cameraman husband while co-presenting childrens
TV show 'The 8.15' from Manchester, and moved to the North
West in 1993.
The
couple live in Cheshire with their horse, two golden retrievers
and two cats.
