Knitting - Squares

Aunt Jane's squares.
You can knit this square using these alterations to give a neater finish:
K.2 tog into the front of the stitch
Then the next K.2 tog into the back of the stitch and so on to the end of the row

But here is the basic pattern
(Not to be used for re-sale)

Using DK wool and No.8 (4mm) needles, cast on 120 stitches.
1. K1 row
2. K2 tog into front of st.K26, K2 tog. into back of st. repeat to end
3. Knit - and all the following odd rows.
4. K2 tog. into front of st. K24, K2 tog into back of st. repeat to end
5. K2 tog. into front of st. K22,K2 tog. into back of st. repeat to end

Continue in this manner until 16sts. Remain, K2tog. all along (8 sts)
Thread wool in needle, draw up these sts. And sew up seams.
