Kevin
has been a television reporter for BBC Look East since 2001, predominantly
covering the Suffolk region, but he also occasionally presents BBC
Look East in Norwich.
Starting
his journalistic career in newspapers, Kevin worked with the East
Anglian Daily Times before joining BBC Radio Norfolk in 1988 as
a news producer.
He
has the accolade of being the first news editor of BBC Radio Suffolk
when it went on air in April 1990. Kevin then moved to London, where
he worked on the television newsgathering desk and also as a news
organiser.
He
returned to Suffolk a year later, where he was appointed as a television
reporter on BBC Look East.
What
Kevin enjoys most about journalism is the variety and quirkiness
of the things you observe. One of the more unusual things to happen
to Kevin was the chick born in a capacious bra of her owner - which,
unsurprisingly, made The Sun's page three!
Kevin
lives in Ipswich with his partner. Outside of work, he enjoys wind-surfing,
sailing, walking and anything to do with the history of Suffolk.
