BBC New Music Shorts 2008


Record companies Domino, Ninja Tune/Big Dada and Mute Records have each provided tracks from their most promising new artists to act as inspiration. Warp Films will be working alongside our winners to help them produce their new music shorts.

Warp Films

Warp Films is an independent film production company which aims to mirror the ethos of its partner music label Warp Records, by nurturing fresh and innovative artists.

Ninja Tune

Ninja Tune is the independent record label created in 1990 by Coldcut as a vehicle to release music of an underground nature, free from the restraints placed on artists by major labels. The label's rostra includes Mr Scruff, Bonobo, Hexstatic and Kid Koala and is known for its innovative music promos which it has released as ZenTV collections on DVD.
