The entries have now closed for the BBC New Music Shorts scheme.
BBC Electric Proms have announced the commissions for this year's New Music Shorts which will be launched at the festival.
Three short films inspired by tracks from Roots Manuva, XX Teens and Wild Beasts were commissioned based on the originality and strength of their idea. Each filmmaker is working with Warp Films to produce their shorts on budgets of £5,000.
The films will be premiered at the Electric Proms, with performances by XX Teens and Wild Beasts.

'C.R.U.F.F.' by Roots Manuva
Writer/Director Jessica Ferguson – Children discover the darker consequences to beachside war games.
'Round' by XX Teens Writer/Director Kirk Hendry – A tale of death and rebirth rages in a jungle world of shadowy hands.
'She Purred While I Grred' by Wild Beasts Director James Lees, Writer David Whitehouse – A man explores his parallel obsessions: his girlfriend and the art of vacuum packing.
Shoot The Summer
In addition to New Music Shorts, Radio 1's Shoot The Summer will also receive its big screen premiere at this year's Electric Proms.
