George, Joe, Steven, Will hail from Manchester and are collectively known as Lost Knives. They write bold, brash and exciting pop music to soundtrack the apocalypse and want to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand tall and dance.
They formed in February 2009 and played their first gig a month later, supporting Broken Records at the Ruby Lounge. Despite their short existence they've already played with numerous established bands, including Whitest Boy Alive, The Panics, The Veils, Team Waterpolo and Telepathe amongst others, as well as being handpicked for an NME 'house party' show in support of The View and Twisted Wheel. Later in October they're appearing at In The City in their hometown and at Huw Stephens' SWN festival in Cardiff.
So far, they've been raved about in publications like Dazed and Confused, Artrocker, The Fly and the NME and have had airplay on BBC Introducing in Manchester, Radio 1, 6 Music, XFM and Amercia's influential KCRW station.
