Overview
Tony Christie opened the Electric Proms 2008 in Liverpool aboard the Royal Daffodil Ferry. After decades of delighting audiences worldwide, not to mention last year's chart-topping single Is This The Way To Amarillo?, it was the first chance to hear the album Christie recorded about his birthplace Sheffield with fellow sons of the city Alex Turner, Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley.
