Trying to make sense of the disruptive after-shocks from the Iraq War, 7/7 bombings and the resulting cultural clashes, Nitin Sawhney turned to music and produced London Undersound. Representing the multi-textual and often contradictory nature of London, his latest work is a wary homage to the capital. Performing highlights from the new album along with some of his classic tracks, Nitin shared the Roundhouse stage with the London Undersound Orchestra plus collaborators Natty, Reena Bhardwaj, Rox, Natacha Atlas and special guest Anoushka Shankar, for a show to remember.
