Africa Express is an initiative that has taken Western musicians to Mali and the Congo, and brought African musicians to perform collaborations at Brixton, Glastonbury, Liverpool. This seven hour performance for The BBC Electric Proms, featured an array of musicians including The Magic Numbers, Amadou and Mariam, Hard-Fi, Nitin Sawhney, Damon Albarn Baaba Maal and Johnny Marr, with the full list below.
