Description:
|
The seat has had its boundaries slightly changed, losing 404 voters to Oxford East. This does not have an effect on the notional 1992 majority and it remains a safe Tory seat for the Deputy Prime Minister Michael Hesetline. On the eastern fringes of Oxford and north east of Reading, Henley is a dormitory town on the Thames. There is a high percentage of owner-occupation in Henley, Thame, and Goring. The M40 runs through the North Eastern corner of the constituency and the M4 runs just south of the constituency.
