Italian Fix: Facts The Italian look
Link to Facts section Italians are very careful about the way they look. Italian life happens outdoors and taking life easy and being seen to take life easy wherever, whenever, is all part of la bella figura, looking good, making a good impression. Trendy Italians, men and women, never leave the house without the essential designer items: sunglasses, gli occhiali da sole, and the mobile phone, il cellulare!

Link to Facts section The trendy Italians shop in boutiques, which is the French term, used for the poshest and most expensive clothes shops. However, excellent copies of those designer items can be found in many markets at bargain prices. Everything is copied, clothes, bags, shoes and all sorts of accessories and don't worry, as long as you keep your distance, no-one will ever spot the difference.
Link to Facts section Men as well as women treat their clothes well. At the end of the day they hang them up carefully, each item on its own designer hanger... although in Italy, mum usually does it for you!
