Whether in the school, or in the neighbourhood, the Chinese are great enthusiasts for physical exercise. Middle-aged to elderly people dance in the streets to keep fit, while students play a vast range of sport at school, from the traditional such as martial arts, to imports from the West such as football. The Chinese believe it's a way of ensuring not only physical fitness, but also spiritual well-being.
