Classroom Ideas

Challenge pupils to find out all they can about the Great Pyramid at Giza. They can use any sources of information they like, but should record their findings as questions and answers, for instance: "Q: What was a mastaba? A: A tomb for an Ancient Egyptian noble." Split the class into teams and round off the session with a quiz, using the children's questions and answers. This is an ideal way to encourage children to process, rehearse and share all kinds of factual information on a given research topic.
