A furniture maker uses traditional Tudor tools and materials. There is also footage of modern day furniture recreations, 16th century paintings, the Mary Rose, associated furniture, tools and clothes.

This clip could be a cross curricular activity with History, Art and IT. Pupils could visit local Tudor places or research in further detail about the Mary Rose, then design a piece of Tudor furniture that they like and recreate the family that owns the furniture to create an extended creative piece of writing.
