Students are asked to plot a 4-leg course for a plane to take off from an airport, fly around a circuit and land again. Taking off from a bearing of 080, students must find the 'headings' for an aircraft to complete a rectangular course and land again at the airport.

This could be used as part of a lesson on bearings. Students could use images of airports to look at actual bearings of runways in different parts of the world, and plot courses.
