Classroom Ideas

After watching this clip, children could be provided with an array of recycled objects such as plastic containers, cardboard boxes and tin cans to make sounds. Using word cards such as loud, quiet, soft, hard, clash, bang, blow, twang, hit and scratch, the children could be encouraged to describe the sounds they have made. The children could use the clip to predict how sound is made and how it travels to our ears.
