Classroom Ideas

Relate the division problems to the inverse multiplications. Give the pupils multi-link or similar cubes and ask them to count out 24. How many groups of four are there? Can the 24 cubes be sorted equally into other groups such as twos or sixes? Demonstrate how to record each division on the board and relate them to the inverse each time.
