Classroom Ideas

The clip could be used to introduce both the respiratory system and the process of speech. The structure and workings of the lungs could be looked at in more detail through dissection or the use of models. Discuss with the class what differences they might expect to see between a smoker's lungs and a non-smokers lungs before showing them examples.
