Classroom Ideas

This clip can be used to introduce experiments measuring how far different springs squash or stretch when adding different amounts of weight. Pupils can then draw bar and line graphs to show their results effectively. After conducting experiments and writing conclusions, children could go around the school identifying where different compression and stretching springs are used for different jobs eg staplers, hole punches, force meters.
