This clip links to a wider study of Black and Asian History in Britain as well as to topics linked to democracy and the development of social and political rights. The clip could be used as a whole class resource for discussion and debate and/or as a resource for individual pupil research. There are clear opportunities for using this clip as part of a wider unit of work on inclusion - positive representation of Black and Asian role models/historical figures.
