How much is 50p? With items on display (which could be presents given as gifts for a wedding), get the children to calculate what they could buy with their money. Some of the items being sold in the shop in the clip could be on display. Watch the clip and use this as a stimulus to get the children to buy a variety of items under 50p, using everyday apparatus. The children can then create pictorial representations of what they would buy for 50p eg two of one item. To challenge the children further, they could also calculate how much change is given.
