Classroom Ideas

This clip can be used to inspire the children to create their own 'Sea Dragon' song. Maybe invite the children to find sounds that make them think of the deep sea - this could be sounds produced by instruments or natural sounds around them. They could perhaps find a voice for the sea dragon. How does the sea dragon sound when it is relaxed and happy ('piano') and how does it sound when it is aggravated ('forte')? They could add other sounds to their composition, perhaps the wind on the sea or the splashing of the waves to create layers of sounds. They could think of lyrics for their deep sea composition.
