Classroom Ideas

Challenging, but can be used as a higher listening task, ideally as a gap-fill or with multiple-choice questions. Provides a wide range of novel language for describing stately gardens, which could lead into a piece of speaking or writing about a French region, e.g. describing an area of historical importance or natural beauty. Could also be used to form a cross-curricular link with History, e.g. focussing on Renaissance France during the reign of Louis XIV.
