Classroom Ideas

Students could note down words used by the family that describe their feelings about the murder and their feelings towards the murderers. What are their beliefs on the subject of forgiveness? How has their faith helped them forgive the perpetrators? Has faith helped them find their peace and would they have been able to without it? Some prior knowledge of Christian views on forgiveness would be helpful before viewing.
