This clip could be used when exploring African music and instruments. You could show the clip and invite the children to comment on the instruments. Do they look like any instruments they know? How do they sound? Perhaps concentrate on the lamellophone and ask the children to draw a picture of it to explore its mechanics. You could maybe help them to build a model of it using a shoe box and wooden prongs. You could ask the children how the music makes them feel - is it a happy song? What do they think the song is about?
