Classroom Ideas

This clip is useful as a stimulus to discuss how the Aztec people felt after the civilisation had been defeated. Children could consider how the disease, slavery and starvation affected their people and way of life. Once into the clip, turn the sound off and ask the children to deduce their own ideas about the consequences of their defeat from the pictures shown. Useful to further research into the Aztec empire and beliefs.
