Classroom Ideas

The pupils could create a graph showing the increase in the City of Manchester's population. They could investigate working in Victorian factories further and create their own 'Factory Rules' and compare these with those likely to be used by factories today. Useful as a stimulus resource to examine the consequences of technological change on populations and to further pupil's own research into the development of Victorian industry.
