Could be used in a unit on development to emphasise the social factors holding back development. One way to do this to ensure that the students have quality notes for their exams would be a fill in the gaps exercise in sections such as: background (quality of life, housing, poverty etc), peer support, group work, aspirations, determination, motivation, practicalities (class size, equipment, funding etc), consequences of success (bigger classes therefore less resources/time per student). What is the answer? Will they succeed? Students could watch the clip and fill in the gaps as they go along.
