We follow two young Jews who are single and looking for a partner to marry - Natalie, 22 and Richard, 27. It presents the process many young British Jews follow when looking for a marriage partner, the difficulties of finding someone from within the small Jewish community and the dilemma of whether to marry in or outside of the Jewish faith. They share their criteria for a husband or wife, and let us follow what happens when they meet a potential marriage partner.

Ask students to respond to the following: a) Whether to marry 'in' or 'out' of the Jewish religion is a real dilemma for many British Jews. What advantages/disadvantages are given by Natalie and Richard? b) Imagine that Richard decides to marry Laura. What do you think would be the reaction of his family, and why?
