Classroom Ideas

Could be used to highlight the similarities and differences both between species and within species. The growth of plants is shown in this clip as well as a range of plants and leaves which exist on Earth. Opportunities for discussion and work based around the adaptation of plants can arise when using this clip in the classroom. Some of the species shown in the clip may be unknown to children, therefore research into these particular species could be undertaken by pupils, as well as research into other species in similar habitats. This clip is fast-moving but can be easily paused, generating discussion about each plant or animal shown.
