This is a fun way to introduce Joseph Priestley as a character from history as well as a scientific investigator. This clip could be used to model the type of information children could research for other scientists. After a research project based on Joseph Priestley, children could view the clip to see if they have discovered any other information, or whether the information they gathered matches the information shown in the clip. The clip shows other scientists (Marie Curie, Edward Jenner, Alexander Fleming, Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei) - children could write a script, similar to Joseph Priestley's conversation with the host, for the other scientists using facts they have researched and discovered themselves.
