Classroom Ideas

This clip is useful to introduce some background information about Jesus and to discuss what pupils imagine his life was like. Display three different pictures of Jesus and challenge the class to describe what they think the painter suggests about who Jesus is. Consider the style, colours used, face expression. Do any of these images fit their personal or learned image of Jesus? Why (not)? They could then create their own image of Jesus and explain why they have pictured him in that way.
