Classroom Ideas

Before the clip, ask the class in what way they prepare for school in the morning. Do they wake up on their own/ have their clothes ready/ wash/ eat anything/ check their homework/ pack their lunch? Prepare a set of flashcards showing images of the preparations for prayer. Hand them out after the clip and encourage pupils to discuss what they mean and how they feel about them. Could lead to talk about the symbolism of Muslims removing their shoes before worship.
