An illustration and explanation of the basic Lindy Hop steps - three key movements are taught with clear instructions and counts. Two dancers perform the hop-kick, hand-jive and Charleston steps. Suggestions are made for developing the motifs into longer sequences. The steps are then broken down and counted through before being built up again using simple motif development. Changes of direction as well as mirroring are highlighted.
