Classroom Ideas

Could be used as stimulus for a discussion of the character of Laertes, in particular the ways in which the descriptors applied to him in this clip can be evidenced further in the text. Students could be asked to explore the extent to which these descriptors might, or might not, be also applied to the character of Hamlet, in order to draw out the parallels and differences between the two 'sons'.
