Gravity and friction are demonstrated using electrical components, wood, cardboard, paper, glue, tubing and syringes. The young scientists come up with some very inventive ideas.

Useful for introducing and concluding a science challenge on forces. The teacher could use the clip to generate the challenge and identify the materials suggested. The children could complete the challenge and then as a conclusion they could watch the clip to see what the children actually did to achieve their goal. The clip could also be used to give children ideas for the challenge.
